Home / About / Our Journey
Established on 21st May 1966, Pakistan Society for Training and Development emerged at a time when structured corporate training was non-existent in Pakistan.
Our evolution from a pioneering training body into a forward-looking institution that blends legacy with innovation — delivering classroom, hybrid and digital experiences.
Founder Mian Abdul Ghani, drawing from his Shell Pakistan experience, established PSTD on the principle that “national progress depends on professional capability.”
PSTD became recognised for introducing Leadership Grid Training, establishing itself as a trusted institution for management excellence.
The organisation strengthened its presence by launching a purpose-built premium learning facility — a dedicated space designed to elevate the professional development experience.
PSTD introduced large-scale learning conferences that brought together leaders and practitioners for national conversations on development.
The institution expanded into digital learning, integrating technology-enabled solutions to ensure learning remained accessible, agile and future-ready.

What began as a pioneering training body is today a forward-looking institution — combining classroom, hybrid and digital experiences to serve professionals across Pakistan and beyond.
